1:1 Learning Support AssistantLewisham College Lewisham College, London Managed Service Partnership by The Supply Register The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Lewisham College to recruit dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to provide individualised support to learners with additional needs. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference to students' educational experiences by providing tailored support that enables them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and learner-focused individuals to work on a supply, temporary, or sessional basis, depending on college requirements. The RoleAs a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant at Lewisham College, you will work directly with individual learners, providing personalised support both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities include: • Providing dedicated 1:1 support to learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional learning needs • Supporting learners to access the curriculum and participate fully in lessons • Assisting with academic, social, emotional, and communication needs • Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in learning • Supporting positive behaviour and helping learners achieve agreed targets • Liaising with lecturers, learning support teams, and other professionals to ensure learners receive appropriate support • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking ForWe welcome applications from individuals with experience in education, care, youth work, mentoring, or support roles.
