1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Garstang September Start Full-Time | Term Time Only Competitive Rate of Pay Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Garstang from September. This rewarding role will involve providing dedicated support to a pupil within Key Stage 2, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. The RoleAs a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide tailored one-to-one support to a pupil with additional learning needs. • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies where required. • Support the pupil academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day. • Implement individual learning and behavioural strategies. • Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. • Monitor progress and contribute to reviews of support plans.
