18 Month Fixed Term Contract Sheffield | Competitive Rates Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for an initial 18-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy engineering team delivering a mix of NPI, continuous improvement and production support across a highly regulated manufacturing environment. What you'll be doing as the Manufacturing Engineer - Supporting production with technical and manufacturing engineering expertise - Delivering NPI and industrialisation projects - Driving process improvements to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery - Developing manufacturing methods, SOPs and production documentation - Supporting engineering change and manufacturing readiness - Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions - Supporting tooling, fixtures and manufacturing equipment projects - Working closely with Production, Quality and Design Engineering We're looking for Manufacturing Engineers with experience in: • Aerospace, defence or other highly regulated manufacturing • Experience in general assembly and fabrication, sheet metal forming, CNC machining, heat treatment, welding or EDM • Educated to HNC in Engineering - Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial • Experience in aerospace manufacturing, FAIR, PPAP and AS9100 • Experience in managing projects and risks If you're a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer or Process Engineer looking for your next contract-style opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
