Job description

Our client, a leading MSP is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer to join them on a full-time, contract basis for an initial period of 6 months. Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to expand their team of Engineers, and are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join them, where you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to a broad range of clients, working on daily tickets whilst working with the wider team of Engineers, working on both day-to-day support tasks and project work. Due to the location of the office candidates are required to have access to their own vehicle. Key Responsibilities: • Resolve daily tickets from clients, supporting on software troubleshooting as well as installs and updates, as well as hardware faults • Attend client sites when required to fix onsite faults and hardware issues • Provide a high level of technical support to clients as well as maintaining a high level of customer service at all times • Work on a mixture of dayto-day support and project work • Act as the goto for any questions or queries from other Engineers Key Experience: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar IT-related role • MSP experience is advantageous, although not essential • Used to providing a high level of technical support to a range of clients • Windows Server 2012 – 2022 • Windows Desktop 7/11 • Office 365 knowledge • Networking ability – DNS / Routing / Switching • VMware • Azure • Active Directory This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a thriving business who are leaders within their field, where you will given an excellent platform to learn, develop and progress your skills in a supportive environment, whilst working on a variety of day-to-day support tasks and project work with a varied client-base.
