Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Ready to take the next step in your practice career?We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join their friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, with genuine opportunities for progression in the short to medium term. The RoleThis position will involve a mix of audit and accounts work, with audits accounting for approximately 60-70% of your workload. Key responsibilities will include: • Planning, managing and completing audits from start to finish • Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients • Working with limited companies, partnerships and sole traders • Preparing self-assessment tax returns (desirable but not essential) • Supporting SME clients with their accounting, audit and tax requirements • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner • Assisting junior team members where required About YouTo be successful in this role, you will: • Be ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience • Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice • Have operated at Semi Senior or Senior level • Possess strong audit experience and be confident managing assignments independently • Have experience supporting SME clients across audit, accounting and tax matters • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills • Be proactive, detail-oriented and client-focused If you're looking for a role that offers variety, responsibility, and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you.
