If you specialise in property or real estate insurance, this role could be ideal for you. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Account Executive – Property / Real Estate Insurance Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 + benefits (flex to £100k for exceptional experience) About the Role Are you an Account Executive with experience in property or real estate insurance looking to step into a more substantial portfolio? This Account Executive – Real Estate opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of a significant property-led client portfolio, working across renewals, placements, and relationship management within a well-established broking environment. You’ll be supported by a knowledgeable team, with access to strong insurer relationships, giving you the platform to deliver excellent outcomes for your clients while continuing to develop your expertise in real estate and commercial property insurance. Key Responsibilities • Manage and develop a real estate / property insurance portfolio, delivering high service standards • Handle all aspects of the renewal process, including market review, negotiation, and placement • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor • Identify opportunities for growth within the portfolio and support new business activity • Collaborate with insurers and, where required, international brokerage partners • Ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping within Acturis • Maintain full compliance with FCA regulations and internal governance procedures • Oversee invoicing, premiums, and funding arrangements • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify risks, gaps in cover, and opportunities Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as an Account Executive within commercial insurance • Strong background in property, real estate, or property-led commercial insurance • Experience managing client relationships and insurance portfolios • Confident handling renewals, negotiations, and insurer placements • Solid understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory requirements • Acturis experience advantageous; strong Excel skills beneficial • ACII qualified or working towards professional qualifications preferred Ideal Background • Property Owners or Real Estate portfolios • Commercial combined risks with a property focus • Experience working with UK insurers or the London Market What’s on Offer • Competitive salary + comprehensive benefits package • Ongoing professional development, including ACII support • Opportunity to manage a significant real estate client portfolio • Clear progression pathway within a growing, well-respected broker • Collaborative, supportive environment with strong technical expertise How to Apply If you’re a Commercial Account Executive with experience in property or real estate insurance, and you’re ready for a fresh challenge within a growing, well-regarded broker, we’d love to hear from you.
