Accountant Benfleet | £40,000–£50,000 DOE | Full-time | Office-based A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a busy, supportive practice. This role is ideal for someone confident handling year-end work and a wide range of accounting tasks. The Role: You will take ownership of key accounting duties and support a varied client portfolio. Key responsibilities include: • Year-end accounts preparation, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss • Tax computations • P11D's • Payroll processing • CIS returns • Working across multiple accounting software packages: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage • Supporting clients and resolving queries in a timely manner About You: You'll bring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. You must have: • Comprehensive accounting background • Experience preparing year-end accounts • Payroll and CIS knowledge • Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage • Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice You will be: • QBE or Fully Qualified • A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail • Preferably a car driver due to the office-based nature of the role What's on Offer: • Supportive, friendly team environment • Fully office-based role in Benfleet Ready to take the next step in your accounting career?
