Ready to take on your own mixed portfolio in a firm that will keep pushing you on? A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Fareham is looking for an Accountant to join their team. It's an office-based role, ideal for someone who is AAT4 qualified with 2 to 3 years of practice experience behind them. After a proper induction, you'll take responsibility for a mixed portfolio and work closely with the Portfolio Managers, while also helping the more junior members of the team coming up behind you. What you'll be doing: • Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, LLPs, sole traders and partnerships • Calculating business and personal tax using the CCH suite • Preparing accounts packs and working through file review points • Advising on and filing personal tax returns under supervision • Ad hoc work through the year, including P11Ds and ATED • Working to client budgets • Mentoring and coaching less experienced colleagues Why consider this role: • A varied and interesting client base • Clear support and structure from the Portfolio Managers • A firm that invests in developing its people • The chance to build towards a more senior role If you want more responsibility and a genuine mix of work, this is a solid next step.
