In addition, we offer a wide range of market-leading benefits to all our colleagues. • 31 days of annual leave (including bank holidays) with long-service awards and enhanced holiday entitlement • Discount schemes with popular retailers – helping you save more • Employee Car Ownership Schemes – available for you and your family • Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 wellbeing support with access to health professionals • Private healthcare access – prioritising your health and prosperity • Pension scheme and life assurance – confidence in your future • Referral bonus – earn when you refer a friend to join the team Why not take a moment to view all our benefits and see what our employees love about working at Hedin Automotive by visiting our THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE: • Processing daily bank payments and receipts while maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers • Reconciling bank and vehicle funding accounts • Managing vehicle purchase ledger accounts • Preparing month-end reconciliations and supporting nominal ledger processes • Producing weekly and monthly financial reports, analysis, and cashflow information • Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal processing • Using advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, to analyse financial data • Identifying and resolving reporting errors while supporting continuous process improvements • Providing general support to the finance team and undertaking ad hoc duties as required YOUR PROFILE. • Previous experience in a finance or accounts role • Ideally studying towards an Accountancy qualification or part/full AAT qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification) • Motor trade experience would be advantageous, as would a working knowledge of Kerridge/Drive • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team SALARY AND HOURS. • £27,000 per annum • Working hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm • The Accounts Assistant role is fully office based ABOUT US.
