The Role
Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll be responsible for looking after the cashbook function and completing regular reconciliations. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, who enjoys working with numbers and is confident taking ownership of their own workload.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the cashbook and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded
• Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
• Supporting with month-end processes and finance reporting
• Processing financial data accurately and maintaining records
• Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties when required
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Previous Accounts Assistant or finance experience
• Strong reconciliation experience, ideally including cashbook
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Confident working with large volumes of financial data
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
The Package
• Circa £32,000 salary, potential bonus
• Based in Sevenoaks
• Hybrid working available after successful completion of probation
