Accounts Manager

Are you an experienced Accounts Manager or Practice Manager looking for a role with autonomy, variety and genuine client ownership? we are working with a small, fast growing, independent accountancy practice in Bromley that is looking for an experienced accountant to join their friendly team. You'll manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing hands-on support across accounts, VAT, CIS, payroll and tax. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant who enjoys hands on, varied work and provides high levels of customer service. Along with managing your own client portfolio, preparing and reviewing year end, and management accounts and tax returns, you will oversee workflow, ensure deadlines are met and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. About you: • ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified with strong experience within a small UK accountancy practice or outsourced environment • Experience with management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT, CIS and payroll • Excellent organisational and communication skills • A proactive, client-focused and commercially aware approach • Experience with Xero and QuickBooks • The confidence to work independently and manage multiple client relationshipsWhat's on offer: • £50,000-£60,000 salary • Flexible working hours • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the Bromley office, 2 days WFH following on boarding • A supportive team environment • The opportunity to join a growing, independent practice and make a real impact Apply now for more information on this accounts manager role and to discuss this Bromley based opportunity in confidence.
