Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a great role for an experienced accounts professional looking for a position where they can take ownership of the accounts receivable function and play a key part within the wider finance team. The Role Working within the finance team, you’ll take ownership of the accounts receivable function, ensuring customer accounts are accurately maintained and payments are managed effectively. This role would suit an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys a hands-on role, is confident managing their own workload and can add value within a busy finance environment. Key Responsibilities • Managing the full accounts receivable function and maintaining customer accounts • Overseeing sales invoicing and payment allocations • Completing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies • Managing aged debt and supporting with credit control processes • Building strong relationships with customers and resolving queries • Supporting month-end processes and providing reports to the wider finance team Desirable Skills & Experience • Previous Senior Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control experience • Strong understanding of the full accounts receivable process • Confident managing customer accounts and resolving complex queries Good attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities The Package • £35,000 salary • Opportunity to join a supportive finance team with a varied and responsible role within the business Farrer Barnes Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
