Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounts Senior to join one of the UK's fastest-growing firms. This is an excellent role for someone currently studying ACA or ACCA (or recently qualified AAT) who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive practice environment. You'll gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio, work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, and have genuine opportunities for career progression. Working as part of a collaborative accounts team, you'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients while continuing to develop your technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing statutory accounts for a broad range of clients, including owner-managed businesses and SMEs. • Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations. • Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries. • Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. • Supporting the preparation of personal tax returns where required. • Working closely with Managers and Partners on client assignments. • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. To be successful, you'll ideally have: • A minimum of 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice. • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • A proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop. • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
