Accounts Senior or Client Manager

A successful and well-respected accountancy practice in Helston is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior or Client Manager to join its friendly and collaborative team. Working with a varied portfolio of businesses, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services whilst helping to support and develop more junior members of the team. As Accounts Senior or Client Manager your duties will include: - Managing a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and providing ongoing accounting and taxation support - Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships - Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns - Reviewing and submitting VAT returns - Acting as a key point of contact for clients, HMRC and colleagues, resolving queries and providing practical advice - Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team - Assisting Managers and Partners with client projects and wider practice initiatives We're looking for: ACA or ACCA qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, although applications are equally welcomed from qualified-by-experience accountants with a strong background in accountancy practice. You'll have excellent technical knowledge, experience managing a varied client portfolio and the confidence to build lasting relationships with clients. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service will all be essential.
