Activity Instructor

JMB1 – Activity Instructor Location – Ballygawley, Co Tyrone Type – Full or Part-time Salary - £13- £20/hour DOE Overview: We are currently recruiting for both part-time and full-time Instructors to join our clients adventure business. The successful Instructors will be responsible for leading our activities whilst ensuring the safety of customers, ensuring the centre is kept to a high standard and working as part of the team to ensure all customers have a fantastic experience. While no formal qualifications are necessary, they would be advantageous. Full Training in all activities will be given. Key Responsibilities: • Instructing visitors on the safe use of equipment and vehicles • Preparation of equipment and areas for instruction • Preparation of team room, vehicles, and other equipment for use by visitors • Checking and maintaining equipment with high regard for safety • Cleaning up equipment and vehicles after groups have left • Entertaining customers and ensuring they have an excellent experience • Moving quickly from one activity to another in accordance with fluctuating timetables • Other ADHOC duties as required Primary Activities: • 4 x 4 Off Road Driving • Off Road Truck Run • Clay Pigeon Shooting • Rifle Range Shooting • Archery • High Ropes • Climbing Wall • Paintball • Shooting Hours of Work: • Full-time hours – 35-hour week including weekends (By negotiation and timetabled) • Part-time hours - primarily weekends • Seasonally-based work – increased hours available during Christmas event, summer break etc. Essential Criteria: • An outgoing and confident personality • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels • Attention to detail • Proven time-keeping ability
