Actuarial Associate Consultant

We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy looking to hire an Associate Actuarial Consultant to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work across scheme actuary, risk transfer and endgame projects, helping pension schemes navigate complex strategic decisions. This is a varied consulting role where you will: • Advise trustees and sponsors on de-risking, buy-in and buyout strategies • Support pension risk transfer transactions and insurer market engagement • Perform actuarial valuations, analysis and assumption setting • Coordinate projects across actuarial, investment, administration and legal teams • Build client relationships and contribute to presentations and proposals • Support schemes through endgame planning and post-transaction activity About You • Part-qualified or qualified actuary • UK pensions actuarial experience • Strong analytical and technical skills • Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex issues clearly • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects Why Join? • Exposure to a broad range of pensions consulting and risk transfer work • Opportunity to work closely with trustees, sponsors and insurers • Strong client-facing responsibility from an early stage • Flexible hybrid working environment • Excellent career development and progression opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for a pensions actuary looking to build expertise across scheme actuary, risk transfer and endgame consulting while working within a collaborative and growing team.
