Key Responsibilities
a.
Strategy & Leadership
Participate
in regular clinical supervision in line with NMC and organisational
requirements.
Act
as a point of contact within the team, appropriately escalating clinical
concerns to senior staff.
Work
towards achieving service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within own role and
those of the service.
Contribute
to service development by providing feedback and completing delegated actions
in a timely manner.
Support
the induction of new staff within the ADHD service.
Maintain
a solution-focused approach when managing challenges and contribute ideas for
service improvement.
Engage
in appraisal processes and contribute to personal development plans.

Clinical Practice & Patient Care
Deliver safe, effective, person-centred care to
adults accessing the ADHD service.
Participate in MDT discussions, contributing
relevant clinical information and linking in with external agencies/services as
required.
Undertake clinical observations and support patients
from referral through to shared care including the gathering and review of
pre-assessment information (e.g., rating scales, structured tools,
developmental histories) and physical health parameters under appropriate
supervision.
Maintain accurate, timely, and professional
clinical records.
Identify when additional investigations or
referrals may be required and escalate appropriately, following service policy.
Promote a holistic approach to care, considering
physical health, mental health, and social needs.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and
external agencies to support coordinated care.
Undertake relevant administrative duties to
support the patients journey including the validation of previous diagnoses
and review of annual review information.
Participate in complex case discussions and
escalate concerns to senior clinicians when required.
Follow service protocols and report any concerns
or inconsistencies.
Demonstrate accountability and safe
decision-making within scope of practice.
Involve patients in shared decision-making and
care planning.
Signpost patients to appropriate services when
needs fall outside the service remit.
Support delivery of psychoeducation and group
interventions under supervision.

Engagement
Maintain awareness of current evidence-based
practice relating to ADHD and mental health.
Apply learning from training and research to
clinical practice.

Digital & IT
Use clinical systems, email, Microsoft Office,
and video consultation platforms effectively.
Accurately input and manage patient data in line
with information governance standards.
Support the use of digital tools for pre-assessment
information gathering and outcome monitoring.
Engage with online resources to support patient
care and information sharing.

Professional Development
Maintain NMC registration and meet revalidation
requirements.
Engage in Continuing Professional Development
(CPD) and reflective practice.
Work within professional scope while developing
competence and confidence.
Maintain high standards of documentation in line
with NMC and organisational policies.
Demonstrate flexibility to meet service needs,
with support from senior staff.
Undertake administrative duties required for
patient care delivery.
Adhere to all relevant legislation, including
NMC Code, NICE guidance, and safeguarding policies.
Undertake additional duties as appropriate and
where required by the service leads.

the service, including the MDT and wider organisation.

Regular travel to Quay sites, community venues,
partner organisations, and satellite clinics as required.
The postholder must be able to work flexibly
