ADHD Specialist Classroom Assistant Redbridge £92-£120 per day Are you passionate about helping energetic and inquisitive learners succeed? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Redbridge is seeking an ADHD Specialist Classroom Assistant to join its team from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity running until July 2027, ideal for experienced support staff or graduates looking to build a career in education or child development. The Role As an ADHD Specialist Classroom Assistant, you will provide focused support to pupils who benefit from additional guidance with attention, organisation and self-regulation. You will work closely with teachers to create an engaging and structured learning environment where every child can thrive. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting pupils individually and in small groups throughout the school day. • Implementing strategies that promote concentration, confidence and positive behaviour. • Helping to maintain clear routines and a calm, purposeful classroom atmosphere. • Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff to meet pupils' individual needs. • Celebrating progress and encouraging children to reach their full potential. We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Has previous experience supporting children with ADHD, autism and/or SEMH needs. • Possesses a strong understanding of ADHD and the ways it can affect learning and behaviour. • Is confident supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour or high levels of activity. • Demonstrates patience, resilience and excellent communication skills. • Is committed to helping every child feel successful and included.
