Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Purchasing and Homecare team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide administration support to our busy Purchasing and Homecare section within Pharmacy. You will be an organised, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced, office environment. A strong team player, you will bring a positive, proactive “can do” attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for developing new skills. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administration role/office environment, have strong IT skills and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of team. PLEASE NOTE THIS POST IS ADVERTISED USING A GENERIC JOB DESCRIPTION, THE CORE DUTIES FOR THIS POST ARE LISTED IN APPENDIX 1 The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check. If you are interested in joining our team in this exciting role please contact Jayne Povey Lead Pharmacy Technician Purchasing and Homecare As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected. NHS Forth Valley may be able to offer sponsorship for certain roles, provided the post meets the minimum salary threshold and any other required criteria.
