Administration Assistant

An established and well-regarded law firm in Wakefield is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join their busy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous office administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment. You'll play a key role in supporting the team with a variety of administrative and client-focused tasks, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing general administrative support to the team.
• Answering telephone calls professionally and directing enquiries as appropriate.
• Data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Preparing and submitting applications to HM Land Registry.
• Typing correspondence and legal documents.
• Sending paperwork to clients and third parties for approval and signature.
• Printing, scanning, photocopying and filing documents.
• Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post.
• Scheduling appointments and managing diaries where required.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service to clients and colleagues.
• Assisting with other ad hoc administrative duties as needed
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous experience in an office administration or administrative support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A professional, positive and reliable approach to work.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
