Job description

School Administrators Required – Birmingham Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm (hours may vary) The Supply Register is currently recruiting experienced School Administrators to work across a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools throughout Birmingham. We are looking for organised, professional and approachable individuals with previous school administration experience. Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or another school Management Information System (MIS), is highly desirable, as schools use a variety of different platforms. Experience in admissions, attendance, reception or general school administration would also be advantageous. Key Responsibilities • Maintaining accurate pupil records using the school's MIS. • Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries professionally. • Producing letters, reports and general correspondence. • Filing, scanning, photocopying and providing general administrative support. • Supporting attendance, admissions and other administrative processes where required. • Liaising effectively with staff, parents, pupils and external agencies. • Welcoming visitors and following all school safeguarding procedures. Requirements • Previous experience working in a school administration role. • Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom, or another school MIS. • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • The Right to Work in the UK. • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. • Two professional references covering the last 24 months.
