Adult ASD Assessor

Full Job Description attached. The post holder will be responsible for leading and delivering adult ASD diagnostic assessments in accordance with service protocols and recognised best practice. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering high-quality autism assessments for adults referred into the service. • Applying clinical knowledge and professional judgement to diagnostic decision-making. • Producing detailed assessment reports that meet professional and organisational standards. • Participating in MDT discussions and contributing to formulation and diagnostic outcomes. • Working collaboratively with medical, nursing, psychology, therapy, operational, and governance colleagues. • Identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns appropriately. • Supporting service development and pathway improvement initiatives. • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, information governance requirements, and professional standards. • Maintaining high standards of patient experience throughout the assessment journey.
