Social WorkerOverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our diverse team. Responsibilities • Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs and develop personalised support plans. • Provide guidance and resources to individuals and families facing unauthorised challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being. • Advocate on behalf of clients to secure necessary services and support. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and legal professionals. • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with organisational policies and legal standards. • Participate in ongoing professional development and diversity training to enhance cultural competence. • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for clients and colleagues from all backgrounds. Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field. • Valid license or certification as required by local regulations. • Strong understanding of issues related to unauthorised social challenges and the ability to provide nonjudgmental support. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusively. • Ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds. • Experience in case management and crisis intervention is preferred. • Proficiency in documenting and managing confidential information. Day-to-Day • Engage with clients through home visits, interviews, and community outreach. • Coordinate support services such as housing, healthcare, and legal assistance. • Attend team meetings to discuss case progress and share insights. • Respond promptly to crises or urgent client needs with sensitivity and professionalism. • Foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and empowerment both within the team and with clients.
