Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Main responsibilities The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will: • Deliver advanced clinical practice in accordance with NMC standards and national guidance. • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions. • Independently prescribe and review medication. • Request and interpret investigations. • Make evidence-based clinical decisions. • Refer patients appropriately to internal and external services. • Deliver health promotion and preventative care. • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. • Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement, and service development. • Maintain professional registration and undertake continuing professional development. • Support the education and development of colleagues where appropriate.
