The Nutrition and Dietetic Service at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust provides care across Leicester Royal Infirmary, Glenfield Hospital and Leicester General Hospital. Our team of around 60 Dietitians, supported by Dietetic Assistants, Assistant Practitioners, administrative staff and a team of Nutrition Nurse Specialists, delivers care across a wide range of local, specialist and tertiary services in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. We are a progressive, researchactive service with a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement. We are committed to supporting staff development, offering clinical supervision, peer support, shadowing opportunities and access to postgraduate study, including Masters and PhD pathways. Members of our team regularly present their work locally, nationally and internationally, reflecting our strong culture of learning, innovation and professional growth.
