Advanced Practitioner | Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

Are you a dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Advanced Practitioner to support a UASC (Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children) service in the Liverpool area. Your Role: • Support the Team Manager with decision-making, chairing key meetings, and collaborating with multi-agency partners (Housing, Health, Education) to secure the best outcomes for young people. • Lead on recruitment, training, and supervision of team members, ensuring their professional development is a priority. • Advocate for young people within the care system, promoting stable placements and implementing long-term positive changes. To be considered for the role, ideally you will have: • Diploma/Degree in Social Work and SW England registration. • Experience completing UASC/Age assessments • Proven experience as a Senior Practitioner within Looked After Children/Children in Care • Strong understanding of legal frameworks and children's care pathways. • Confident in multi-agency collaboration and advocacy for young people.
