Richmond upon Thames - Twickenham September 2026 Start Term Time Only 2.45pm to 6pm Monday to Friday After School Club A welcoming primary school in Richmond upon Thames is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Out of Hours Club Playworker to join its wraparound care team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a fun, nurturing environment. Working as part of the after school club team, you will help provide high-quality childcare, support a range of creative play activities, and ensure pupils are safe, engaged and well cared for throughout the session. The successful candidate will work closely with the Club Manager to deliver an enjoyable and inclusive provision while promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing and child development. The Ideal Candidate Will: • Have experience working with primary-aged children in a childcare, school or play setting • Be caring, reliable and enthusiastic with a positive attitude • Be confident supporting children through play and structured activities • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child welfare • Work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with children, parents and colleagues • Hold a First Aid qualification or be willing to undertake training The School Offers: • A friendly and supportive working environment • A well-established wraparound care provision • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • A rewarding role supporting children's development beyond the classroom • Consistent term-time working hours (2:45pm-6:00pm) Interested?
