Job description
AI & Automation Specialist (Contract)
£500 per day | Outside IR35
Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in Warwick
Initial 3-month contract (scope to extend)
We're supporting a client at the early stages of embedding AI and automation into their core delivery processes. This is a hands-on contract role focused on building, validating and scaling AI-driven solutions rather than heavy data engineering.
This is not a pure data/SQL role - the focus is on practical application, delivery, and workflow automation.
You'll sit across business and technology functions to help shape how AI is used day-to-day, moving from proof of concept into scalable, production-ready solutions.
Key areas include:
• Validating current AI use cases and identifying more efficient or scalable approaches
• Designing and implementing automation across internal processes and workflows
• Supporting POC development and helping transition these into live environments
• Connecting tools across Microsoft 365, Adobe, and AI platforms into cohesive solutions
• Working on dashboards, reporting, and timesheet automation improvements
• Exploring and implementing prompting strategies and AI tooling
• Supporting experimentation with tools such as Claude and broader AI ecosystems
What They're Looking For
• Experience applying AI automation in real business workflows
• Strong understanding of prompting, AI tools, and integration approaches
• Background in process improvement, delivery, or transformation environments
• Ability to bridge technical capability with practical business use cases
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, evolving environments (POC scale)
• Experience across tools such as Microsoft 365, Adobe, APIs, or similar ecosystem
• Experience within creative/marketing/digital/brand agencies
If you've taken AI from idea to real-world impact, this is the kind of challenge worth exploring.
