SALARY: up to 54K - 60K OTE (includes a Basic Salary of 45K - 50K per annum, depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Benefits
LOCATION: Dublin, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 39 Hours per Week, Monday to Thursday from 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday's 08:00 – 15:30. Some flexibility may be required due to the nature of work.
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow customer relationships across the Republic of Ireland.
As the Area Sales Manager you will execute sales plans, achieve KPIs, develop customer accounts, identify new business opportunities and use market intelligence to support profitable sales growth.
The Area Sales Manager will work closely with sales, marketing and customer service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. There may also be future opportunities to support customers in Northern Ireland and undertake overseas travel as the role develops.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Area Sales Manager include:
• Sales Growth: Execute the sales plan, meet KPIs and actively identify opportunities to drive profitable sales growth
• Customer Relationships: Build strong customer relationships, manage contact cycles and align customer priorities with annual targets
• Data-Led Selling: Use data, market insight and sales information to build fact-based arguments, increase sales and close distribution gaps
• Product Distribution: Present new and existing products, gain listings and support targeted distribution gains across the customer network
• Commercial Management: Manage customer terms including pricing, distribution costs, incentives and charges in line with sales leadership guidance
• Market Intelligence: Acquire, collate and share market information that could enhance sales performance and business decision-making
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve customer issues with minimal negative impact on sales growth or customer experience
• Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate written records of sales results, pipeline opportunities and customer agreements
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, customer service and internal stakeholders to support a consistent customer experience
• Trade Support: Assist with trade shows and carry out other reasonable duties that support the wider needs of the business
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or Field Sales Manager
• A successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Exceptional written, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage your own schedule and territory effectively
• Competent in using data to build fact-based selling arguments
• Full, clean driving licence valid for use in the Republic of Ireland
DESIRABLE
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or a similar field
• Previous professional sales training
• Experience with customer relationship management software
• Willingness and flexibility to travel when required by the role
• Experience in working with a Partnership/Loyalty programme
• Experience of Joint Business Planning
