Aspiring Maths Teacher Program - £36,500 Permanent Contract A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster are on the hunt for Aspiring Maths Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full time, and permanent post. Please note, the salary is based upon experience & on a scale. You will be working across the Maths Department, supporting KS3-4 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring Maths Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling onto teacher training. The Head Teacher would ideally like a Maths Graduate with any of the following Maths related degrees: • Mathematics (Maths) • Further Mathematics (Maths) • Mathematics & Statistics (Maths) • Economics (Maths) • Mathematical Sciences (Maths) • Physics (Maths) • Computing (Maths) • Data Science (Maths) • Biology (Maths) • Finance (Maths) • Accounting (Maths) • Statistics (Maths) You will have the opportunity to enrol onto a Salaried Schools Direct opportunity via the Secondary School either starting September 2026 or 2027. JOB DESCRIPTION • Aspiring Maths Teacher Program • Secondary Teaching Assistant (Subject dependent) • Working across KS3-5 with a focus on raising attainment • Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions • Enrolling onto the Aspiring Maths Teacher Program (Schools Direct) • September Start - Full Time & Permanent • £27,500 - £36,500 permanent contract (Paid on a scale depending on experience) • Located in the Borough of Westminster PERSON SPECIFICATION • Must have a desirable degree from the above subjects from a reputable University • Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board • Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum • You must be able to engage and motivate the students • Commitment and ambition to succeed is key throughout!
