Assembly Operator

Join Our Team - Skilled Assembly Operative Wanted (Chelmsford) Are you hands-on, detail-focused, and ready to build a career in precision assembly? We're looking for a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our fast-paced, high-quality production team in Chelmsford. What You'll Be Doing • Working from production documents, procedures, and assembly drawings • Building a wide variety of assemblies - no two days are the same • Using mechanical tools, soldering equipment, and electrical test gear • Handling fine, delicate work including precise wire crimping • Operating automated equipment and ensuring calibration standards are met What We're Looking For • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work • Comfortable handling different types of assembly tasks • Reliable, punctual, and flexible for overtime when needed • A team player who works well alongside others • Good eyesight (not colour blind) for precision tasks • Confident using lifting equipment and pallet trucks • Willing to wear PPE and follow safety procedures • Comfortable working seated or standing as required Key Skills That Will Make You Shine • Experience with mechanical assembly tools • Skilled in fine wire crimping and lead-free soldering • Confident using electrical test equipment • IT experience is highly advantageous • Familiar with automated machinery and equipment calibration Working Hours • Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 3:30pm • Friday: 6:30am - 12:30pm (early finish) If you're meticulous, motivated, and ready to be part of a team that values quality and precision, we want to hear from you.
