Assistant Accountant Bournemouth Office Based £28,000 - £35,000 + benefits & Study Support A leading professional services business based in Bournemouth are seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accounting professional who is looking to develop their career in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and manage accounts for limited companies. • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts. • Prepare and support corporate tax computations and returns. • Assist with personal tax returns and related compliance work. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. • Liaise with clients to obtain financial information and respond to queries. • Support senior accountants with year-end accounts, tax planning, and other accounting assignments as required. About You The successful candidate will have: • Studying / Part-qualified ACCA (or equivalent). • Experience preparing accounts for limited companies. • Knowledge of both corporate tax and personal tax. • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. • Good communication skills with the ability to build positive client relationships. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
