Assistant AccountantSouth Leicestershire | High-Growth SME Salary: Competitive + Annual Bonus (£3,000–£4,000) + Excellent Benefits Nenebrook Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a dynamic and rapidly expanding SME based in South Leicestershire in the recruitment of an Assistant Accountant. Working closely alongside the Head of Finance, you will gain broad exposure across all aspects of the finance function while playing a key role in supporting the business's continued success. Key Responsibilities • Purchase Ledger management • Sales Ledger processing • General Ledger maintenance • Credit Control • Cash and Banking administration • Payment processing and reconciliations • Assisting with payroll duties • Supporting the Head of Finance with monthly management accounts and financial reporting • Providing additional support across the wider business when required About YouThe ideal candidate will: • Be studying towards or qualified in AAT, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) • Have a minimum of 2–3 years' experience within a similar accounts position • Possess strong double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliation skills • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Enjoy working within a busy SME environment • Be flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach across both finance and administrative tasks Applications are also welcomed from Qualified by Experience (QBE) candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience within a similar role.
