Assistant Accountant

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT | WEST BERKSHIRE | UP TO £30K + FULL STUDY SUPPORT Sheridan Maine are partnering with a vibrant business in West Berkshire who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The responsibilities of this Assistant Accountant position will include: • Accounts preparation for various clients • Processing VAT returns and tax documentation • Bookkeeping tasks • Preparing management accounts • Payroll administration • Communicating with clients and answering queries To be considered for the role you will have: • 1-2 years minimum experience in an accountancy practice • Prior experience preparing accounts for multiple clients • Excellent communication and client management skills • Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team The company will offer AAT or ACCA study support and operate a flexible hours/ hybrid working culture.
