Ready to make a real impact supporting operational decision-making? Here at GXO, we’re seeking a motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in Selby. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting operational teams, analysing financial performance, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple contracts. This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an on-site role, you will be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: • Produce weekly management information and monthly financial packs across site contracts • Monitor cost flows, budgets, and forecasts, identifying trends and variances • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed analysis • Process internal cross charges, trial balances, and financial data accurately • Ensure purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed efficiently What you need to succeed at GXO: • Strong Excel skills (including formulas) and proficiency in Microsoft Office • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Confident communicator able to engage with multiple stakeholders • Previous finance experience with a proactive, self-motivated approach We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
