Further Duties: • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the finance system and its applications, working with other key staff both within Financial Management and Financial Accounting to improve and automate processes where possible • Investigate and interpret a range of financial enquiries, providing feedback through explanation and advice to budget managers within specific Service Lines. Ensure clear communication in order that finance terminology is understood by non-finance staff. • Contribute to the budget setting process for specific Service Lines through maintenance of detailed supporting spreadsheets. • Assist with project work and other ad-hoc duties to ensure that all the routine work of the department is covered. • Act at all times as a representative for the Finance Department ensuring that the professional reputation of the Department is upheld. • No direct line management.
