Assistant Management Accountant | £30,000 - £35,000 + study support | Manchester (city centre) The Opportunity Are you an accountancy and finance graduate looking to join a modern and professional group in a role that can offer you significant career development and progression? There’s lots going on in the business and there will be an enjoyable balance of projects to be involved in alongside the core accounting / financial reporting. The role would suit someone looking to fire through CIMA or ACCA and progress into a fully fledged management accounting or business partnering role over the next 1-3 years. You need to have an least 1 year of experience in an accounting role and have excellent core accounting understanding and awareness (debits and credits / accruals / prepays / journals / recs etc). Required: • A finance and accounting degree (or AAT) and appetite to complete CIMA or ACCA. • Excellent core accounting understanding. • Confidence using excel to analyse complex data (P&L, sales data etc). • Natural enthusiasm, proactivity and calmness when learning new tasks.
