Assistant Management Accountant

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as an Assistant Management Accountant within their finance team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Duties
• Process & raise invoices.
• Complete twice-monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring the accounting system matches bank statements and escalating any cash flow issues where necessary.
• Assist with twice-monthly payment runs.
• Monitor customer accounts and issue first and final payment reminders where appropriate.
• Respond promptly to email and telephone queries.
Additional Responsibilities
• Prepare year-end accounts on an accrual basis, comparing actual expenditure against budget.
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports, reviewing actual expenditure against budget and forecasting future costs where required.
• Prepare and submit Micro-Entity and Dormant Company accounts to Companies House within statutory deadlines.
