Are you highly organised, analytical, and confident using Excel? Are you looking to build a career with a premium business that is a leader in its field? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful company where you'll work closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams to help maximise sales, manage stock effectively, and support key commercial decisions. Whether you already have merchandising experience or are looking to take your first step into the industry, we'd love to hear from you if you have strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail. The Role As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and management of stock across the business. Your responsibilities will include: • Analysing sales and stock data to identify trends and opportunities. • Monitoring stock levels to ensure product availability meets agreed targets. • Working closely with the Buying and Supply Chain teams to review stock performance. • Assisting with budget planning, forecasting and reporting. • Supporting the management of stock levels to minimise excess inventory. • Helping to manage stock spend and monitor budget performance. • Producing reports and using data to support commercial decisions. • Contributing to continuous improvements across merchandising processes. About You We're looking for someone who is analytical, commercially aware and eager to learn. You may already have experience in merchandising, retail analysis or stock planning, or you could be looking to move into merchandising from another analytical or retail-based role. You'll ideally have: • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyse data and create reports. • Excellent numerical and analytical abilities. • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. • Confidence working with data to identify trends and make recommendations. • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. • A proactive approach and willingness to learn. • Previous retail or office-based experience is advantageous but not essential.
