Job description

The successful candidate will be required to undertake competency-based training programmes to assist the registered therapist to deliver pre set clinical/rehab interventions following treatment plans. Dependent on knowledge and experience you will be expected to contribute to patient reviews and progress treatment interventions, feeding back to the registered professional and recording in the patients record at the point of care. Following training and supervision you will order, fit and demonstrate safe use of assistive equipment through Mediquip. This may include delivery of items. You must be an excellent communicator at all levels and be able to coordinate clinical work with colleagues demonstrating effective time management skills and participate in the monitoring and reviewing of team performance. A proactive attitude to the promotion of an environment where health promotion and informed patient choice is encouraged, developed and supported to its maximum potential, within the available resources. An eagerness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge by undertaking relevant training by attending mandatory training, relevant training courses, use of eLearning and adhere to all trust policies and procedures is essential to this role. The post will be based at Hundens lane in Darlington with travelling to patients own home/care homes and clinics across the Darlington area as required.
