Assistant Quantity Surveyor

A well-established construction and property consultancy is seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This Assistant Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in supporting the delivery of professional quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of residential, education, commercial and public sector projects. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist with key quantity surveying duties throughout the project lifecycle, supporting senior team members while developing strong commercial and technical skills. Working closely with project managers, design teams and clients, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will contribute to maintaining high standards of cost management across multiple schemes. The Role As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects from early-stage cost planning through to project completion. The role will include: • Assisting with preparing cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies * Supporting the preparation of tender documentation and procurement processes * Assisting with contract administration and subcontractor management * Monitoring project costs, variations and change control * Supporting interim valuations and financial reporting * Assisting with value engineering and risk management exercises * Contributing towards the preparation of final accounts The Assistant Quantity Surveyor? You will be an organised and commercially aware Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is keen to develop within a professional consultancy environment.
