Job description

• To assist and partake in the aseptic preparation of cytotoxic drugs, CIVAS products and parenteral nutrition to the patients of Kings College Hospital according to the Guide to Good Manufacturing Practice, Guidance on Aseptic dispensing for NHS Patients, Health and Safety at Work Act and departmental procedures. • To actively encourage the adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice • To tidy, clean and disinfect the cleanrooms and equipment according to procedures as required. • To assist with the monitoring of the environment in Aseptic services. • To label and package final products accurately and store correctly following aseptic procedures. • To assist in the maintenance of equipment as required. • To sit or stand at isolators for long periods • To participate in the out-of-hours, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas in Pharmacy Aseptic Services.
