Assistant Underwriter, US Casualty

Our client are a long established Lloyd’s syndicate with a strong reputation in the market. This is a rare opportunity to join the US Casualty underwriting division, in a true Assistant Underwriter capacity, with a definite career opportunity to continue to become an underwriter. This will suit a candidate who can demonstrate a good level of numerical ability, advanced Excel with reporting skills and someone who has around 3 years’ London market experience, within the casualty remit, and specifically who has interacted with US clients. Working very closely with the Head of Casualty, you will gain first hand experience of day to day underwriting; this is not just a support role but something offering significant oversight and development.
