Job Summary
As Associate Director, you will sit at the heart of our Estates & Facilities leadership structure, providing strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of services. Depending on portfolio allocation, this may include areas such as Estates Services, Patient Environment, Catering & Food Safety, Portering, Security & Fire, Waste & Sustainability, Transport & Logistics, Compliance & Risk, Contracts, Business Services and other essential support services that underpin patient care.
The post plays a key role in delivering major Trust priorities, including supporting transformational programmes and other significant capital, infrastructure and service improvement initiatives. You will influence departmental and organisational strategy, lead large-scale change programmes, manage significant budgets and workforce responsibilities, and ensure compliance with national standards, regulations and best practice.

• Extensive senior leadership experience within a large, complex Estates & Facilities environment.
• A proven track record of leading strategic transformation, service improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong commercial, financial and business planning skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to influence at the most senior levels.
• Deep understanding of compliance, risk management, health and safety, and statutory requirements.
• Outstanding people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire large multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure, make difficult decisions, and successfully navigate complex and challenging situations.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• A collaborative, inclusive and values-driven approach.
