Role: Associate - Serious Injury (Grade A) Location: UK Wide / Fully Remote (Occasional travel required) Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits The Opportunity CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading national personal injury practice to recruit an experienced Associate within their Serious Injury team. This is a senior opportunity for a technically strong Serious Injury lawyer to join a highly regarded practice handling complex, high-value claimant work. The firm is recognised across the market for its expertise in catastrophic and life-changing injury claims, offering a genuine focus on quality, client outcomes and long-term case strategy. You will be joining a business that provides the time, autonomy and infrastructure to manage complex matters properly, working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment alongside leading experts in the field. What you'll be doing • Managing a portfolio of complex Serious Injury claims, predominantly RTA-based (£150k - multi-million) • Leading case strategy across the full lifecycle of claims, including liability, quantum and rehabilitation • Working closely with medical experts, counsel, case managers and other specialists to deliver best outcomes • Securing interim payments and rehabilitation support to aid client recovery • Drafting high-quality legal documentation including pleadings and schedules of loss • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional client care • Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners, paralegals and support staff • Supporting wider team development and contributing to best practice within the department What they're looking for • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent experience) • Typically 8+ years' experience within Serious Injury / Catastrophic Injury • Proven track record handling complex, high-value multi-track claims • Strong litigation skills and understanding of court procedures • Experience leading cases and managing client relationships at a senior level • Ability to mentor and support junior team members • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail What's on Offer • Competitive salary between £60,000 - £90,000 (DOE) • Annual performance-related bonus • Fully remote working with flexibility • High-quality, complex caseload with genuine autonomy • Clear progression pathways into senior leadership roles • Private healthcare, life assurance and income protection • Flexible benefits including buy/sell holiday options • Strong investment in training, development and long-term career progression • A collaborative, supportive and forward-thinking working environment Interested?
