Auction Sales Car Drivers

Auction Sales Car Driver - Day Shifts - Leeds People Solutions are currently recruiting for Auction Sales Drivers to join our well-established client based in Leeds. This role is working at a busy car auction site and offers ongoing, long-term work throughout the year. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Delivery Driver, Vehicle Shunter or Courier Please note, you must be aged 21 or over for this position due to our client’s insurance requirements. Shifts: • Monday - Friday - start times 8:00 - 9:45 Rates of Pay: • £13.00 per hour basic • £26.00 per hour overtime Benefits: The benefits as an Auction Sales Driver are: • Weekly pay • Onsite parking • Ongoing work Day to Day Duties: Your day to day duties as an Auction Sales Driver are: • Be flexible with start times • Moving a wide range of vehicles around site in preparation for sale • Working outdoors in all weather conditions • Preparing vehicles for auction • Driving both manual and automatic vehicles • Driving petrol, diesel and electric vehicles • Completing high levels of walking (over 10,000 steps per day) • Moving vehicles in and out of tight spaces Essential Skills: The skills required to be an Auction Sales Driver are: • Held a valid UK Category B Driving Licence for at least 12 months • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements • No major endorsement codes • Excellent communication skills • Positive ‘can do’ attitude • Must be aged 21 or over due to client’s insurance requirements Desirable Experience • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential Training: • Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout Contact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
