Job description

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Beaconsfield, and they're looking for an ambitious and motivated Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a varied and rewarding role, offering hands-on exposure to a diverse client portfolio across both audit and accounts work. You'll be joining a collaborative, supportive environment where your progression is taken seriously and your contributions are recognised from day one. What You'll Be Doing • Assisting in the planning and completion of audit assignments across a range of clients • Supporting the preparation of accounts in line with UK accounting standards • Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner • Working alongside senior members of the team, contributing to shared assignments and building your technical knowledge • Developing your client-facing skills and growing your confidence across a variety of engagements What We're Looking For • Around 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice • Certificate Level qualified, with 4 or more Professional Level exams passed (ACA or ACCA) • A solid grounding in both audit and accounts work within a practice setting • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for continued learning and development • Good communication skills and a willingness to engage confidently with clients Nice to Have • Candidates with more years of experience who are not yet fully exam-qualified are warmly encouraged to apply • Individuals with strong practical audit and accounts experience who are looking to formalise or continue their studies will also be considered Why Join • Competitive salary and benefits package (discussed on application) • A clearly structured progression pathway to support your exam journey and career growth • Exposure to a broad and varied client portfolio across multiple sectors • A supportive, collaborative team culture within a professional and growing practice How to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your practice career, we'd love to hear from you.
