Job description

Audit & Certification Coordinator Location: High Wycombe Salary: upwards of £45,000 - £50,000 Hours: 37.5 hours a week (flexible on start and finish) - fully office based An excellent opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit & Certification Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within the building services and engineering sector. This role sits within the Finance team and is ideal for an individual with experience in quality management, compliance, auditing, or finance who enjoys working with data, systems, processes, and stakeholders across a business. You will play a key role in ensuring quality standards, audit requirements, financial controls, and certification obligations are maintained while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Finance & Data Management • Support reporting, analysis, and process compliance activities. • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases used for quality and audit tracking. • Analyse performance and compliance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. • Assist with financial control documentation and process reviews. Audit Coordination • Plan, schedule, and coordinate internal audits. • Support external audit programmes and act as a key point of contact for auditors. • Track audit findings and coordinate corrective actions. • Maintain accurate audit records and compliance documentation. Quality Management & Compliance • Maintain and administer the Quality Management System (QMS). • Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and certification requirements. • Manage document control processes, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records. • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through to completion. • Support continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives. Certification Management • Manage certification schedules and compliance requirements. • Liaise with certification bodies and external auditors. • Prepare documentation and evidence for audits and surveillance visits. • Track actions arising from certification activities and ensure timely completion. Reporting & Communication • Produce reports on audit performance, compliance metrics, quality trends, and certification status. • Present findings and recommendations to management teams. • Promote awareness of quality standards and compliance requirements across the organisation. About You Essential Skills & Experience • Experience in a Finance, Quality, Compliance, Audit, or Governance role. • Strong understanding of ISO management systems, particularly ISO 9001. • Experience coordinating internal and external audits. • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills. Qualifications • Qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field. • ISO Internal Auditor qualification or equivalent experience is desirable. Desirable Experience • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment. • Knowledge of ERP systems and quality management software. • Experience using Salesforce and/or SAP would be advantageous.
