Key Responsibilities • Leading the delivery of audit and assurance services across a complex and varied client portfolio • Overseeing the review of audit files prepared by managers and junior staff • Building and maintaining senior client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders • Driving business development activity including proposals, networking, and growing the audit portfolio • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing audit team • Contributing to the strategic direction of the audit practice in partnership with the firm's senior leadership Requirements • ACA or ACCA qualified with an outstanding audit background gained within practice • At least seven years' experience working within a UK Practice environment • Proven experience at manager or senior manager level with a strong track record of complex audit work • Deep technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage at board and partner level • A natural leader with demonstrable experience developing and inspiring audit teams • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to business development and practice growth
