This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA / ACCA professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The Audit Senior Role • You will play a key part in the delivery of audit and assurance services for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients across different industries. • Lead audit fieldwork and perform substantive and analytical testing • Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring files are fully documented for review • Prepare statutory financial statements under UK GAAP / IFRS • Identify risk areas and flag matters of concern to Managers and Partners • Build client relationships and provide a high-quality service • Support, coach and mentor junior team member About You • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified • Experience working in audit within a UK accountancy practice • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS • A collaborative team player with good communication skills • Enjoys building client relationships and supporting junior colleagues What’s on Offer • Salary £38,000 – £46,000 depending on experience • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements • 25 days holiday plus birthday leave • Professional subscriptions paid • A supportive and inclusive culture with clear career progression opportunities Location This role is based in Newcastle and is easily commutable from Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, and Cramlington by public transport.
